No, he's not. He's taking advantage of a weak SEC. When Moo State is the second- or third-best team in the conference, it means the rest of the league is down. Florida (which has lost two SEC title games by large margins), Auburn, LSU and Tennessee all can't get out of their own way right now. Georgia has a second-year coach and we still don't know whether the Bulldogs are good right now. That's five of the big six in a spot well below their capabilities.

Give Moo State credit. It's taken advantage of the missteps of the conference's best programs. But when those programs have it going right, Moo State can't stay on the field with them. At best, Moo State should be no better than fourth in the West every year. It's better than that right now because Auburn and LSU have coaches in place who are killing the programs.
