A ton of his plays are 1 read only and run. So yes some of them are. The play to Ridley over the middle was a read 1 or run. Call whatever you want pal, I've seen enough of their practices to know it is a thing.

Rod Gilmore brought this up during the broadcast after the sideline reporter made a comment about not seeing Jalen make his 2nd or 3rd read very often. Gilmore sounded like he had either seen this first hand in practice or the coaching staff talked to him about it during their broadcast prep this week.

I'd say it's legit.

Well that certainly will keep morale high amongst the receivers not named Ridley. This will bite us in the arse against the elite defenses that take away Hurts on the ground. I just don't think that's very good coaching. Jalen isn't a freshman anymore. Just win I guess.
