I'm waiting for a larger sample size before I jump on or back off the Hurts hype train.

BUT, the people on here who were claiming Hurts was fantastic through much of last year don't get to say the people now overreacting in the other direction make our fan base look stupid.

he was objectively fantastic through much of last year, especially for a true freshman. Despite the production drop off the last 3 games he still had perhaps the best season for a true freshman QB in the history of the NCAA. Saying he was fantastic last year is not overreacting. Saying he's garbage this year after playing a great defense game 1 behind a shuffled o line, not making any mistakes, and winning the game is a complete overreaction.
