Guys, we're not judging Hurts based on one game. Through 16 games and an offseason, we've seen very minimal improvement.
Generally when you talk about QBs that can improve, you talk about QBs that clearly have the arm talent to throw crisp, on-time passes, they just need more experience to really settle in - a guy like Tua for example.

When you have a guy who's never once hit a receiver across the middle in stride in 16 games, and that the coaches clearly have very little confidence in his ability to read defenses in his second season, it's really cause for concern when our offense isn't doing its job.

Like many of you, I was always a big fan of Hurts. He is a playmaker no doubt. He's also really tough.
However, I'm letting go at this point. When I watch AJ McCarron highlights it makes me sad considering what our offense used to be and how it's devolved.

The RPO offense can be deadly, but it starts and ends with the QB. You have to have a deadly QB, and in the age of Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts doesn't strike fear into anyone

I'm only at the 5:00 min mark and have seen no less than 6. It's comments like these that make our fan base look stupid.

Check out 3:22 it's a beauty.

When you use a guy that has never taken a college snap as your example, your credibility goes right out the window.

And if Tua's not perfect, you will be screaming for Mac Jones...Alabama, where the backup QB is the most popular guy on the team...
