You didn't miss anything.
There was NOT 1 pass attempt between the hashes.

The coaches don't have confidence in the QB to make those throws, at least to the right colored jersey.
edit: And that obviously cuts out a lot of our playbook. Arugably the best receivers in the country and we can't get it to them. Well, we will the next couple of games, and some folks will be proclaiming that the passing game is great. Then will come the tough defenses later in the schedule. Deja Vu
