Aranda, Schiano, etc. I don't know if they'd make good head coaches as they've never been one

You are HORRIBLY misinformed.

Greg Schiano was the head coach of Rutgers from 2003-2011 and the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2012-2013.

Rutgers has been to 10 bowls in the history of their program. 6 of those came under Schiano. In 2006, Rutgers won 11 games and had Ray Rice as their starting running back.

Remember how P.J. Fleck's whole shtick is rowing? Schiano's is "chopping wood".

Alright, settle down jethro. I simply didn't google his history like I did with most of the other coaches.

Sounds like he had a pretty good past history of coaching, if so, put him on the short list and give him a call for an interview when the time comes.
