LSU had a culture of low expectations before Saban came.
Saban had to deal with a culture of worshiping the Bear at Bama. He had to say the Bear is dead and they need to realize it. They were screwing themselves by always wanting one of their own.

Correction: Dinardo changed the culture with "Bring Back The Magic" and Kevin Faulk. Sabah built a winning program.
