I'd imagine it is because nobody really likes him outside of Carolina and Auburn. I bet they never asked him or even tried to get him.

ETA If you think that Nissan hasn't asked, you aren't very smart. I am sure athletes are asked to endorse things all of the time. That doesn't mean they do them.
