“I just feel so strongly that the act of recognizing the flag is a salute to our country and all of the people that have sacrificed so that we can have the liberties we have,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan’s Shan and RJ. “I feel very strongly that everyone should save that moment for the recognition of the flag in a positive way, so I like the way the Cowboys do it.”

Prescott had this to say:
"I mean, it's bigger than I think some of us think," he said. "It's just important for me to go out there, hand over my heart, represent our country and just be thankful and not take anything I've been given and my freedom for granted."

The two statements are extremely similar. Like I said in my original post. Dak may feel this way truly, or he may not...but it always pays for you and the person who signs your paycheck to agree.

I love Dak, will always love him. His kneeling, not kneeling won't affect the way I view him or any other player in the NFL because we all view things differently. But when your boss tells you to do something, and you aren't financially insulated to take the hit...you do it.

By the same token, if your boss came in and said work overtime or you're fired...you think showing up for work is a choice? Especially if you don't have powerball winnings sitting in your bank account.

Colin has made over 40M dollars in his career btw...hardly struggling for a tattoo i would think.
