If by 'filed a charge' you mean a formal complaint with either university or law enforcement officials, what she told them to do was destroy evidence. That isn't looking out for the players at all. If it involved LE, she committed a crime.

Seems she filed a compliant with law enforcement. I agree telling them to get rid of it looks bad, but I believe she did it in an effort to protect the girls and not the coach. To the knowledge of the AAD all the coach did at that point was have a consensual relationship with a girl which violated his contract. The harassment stuff hadn't come to full light and the majority of it that is alleged happened after the texts messages were seized.

I am not defending anyone's actions, but I do get frustrated when people either purposely or out of ignorance misrepresent information. Truth is this is bad, you don't have to spin it to make it look bad.

Why wasn't this coach cut after the internal investigation?

He broke his contract by fooling around with a player, consensual or not. Once the Admin found out, they could have canned him.

Intentions aside, if that is true the AAD has ended her career for sure and opened Auburn up for a bigger Title IX issue than just what the coach and his son are accused of doing.
