"Lewis never said anything about LSU"

Look again. The COI was presented with material naming LSU. If they ask Leo Lewis about it and he verifies a violation, it could cause them to look further. Of course, I don't think Leo Lewis will attend the COI and it'll all be thrown out. LSU will have no concerns and State will get off. The self-imposed penalties will be applied to Ole Miss and everyone will move on. Most all of basis for the LOIC will be thrown out and replaced with "failure to monitor."

You referring to these elusive transcripts again? And even if you are to assume someone leaked the transcripts (another violation by Ole Miss), it was his mother that mentioned LSU, not Lewis. The NCAA did not find her credible so I don't know what you think the NCAA is going to pursue there. And the COI is not an investigatory body.

Quit "thinking" Powell. The investigators caught your Administration dead to rights, your people lied, cheated while on probation, you had coaches a Asst ADs lying, circumventing and down right avoiding your own Compliance people multiple times.

Now add in the other two programs on probation and serving sanctions and try to explain how the Institution known as Ole Miss was "in control" of anything regarding athletics?
