Based on the way Gus historically calls games, his tendency is going to be (as another poster already pointed out) to play vanilla against Georgia Southern.

If he was doing that just to knock the rust off, that would be one thing. But my belief is that Gus thinks he is better off "hiding" a lot of things from Clemson in game 2. To me, that benefit is much outweighed by going with a more aggressive game plan in game 1 and getting all his many playmakers the reps they need to be bad-arse all season.

I say release the hounds. Let us see our enemies driven before us and hear the lamentations of their women.

Gus can be baffling in that regard. Sometimes he's clearly vanilla, and then sometimes, he'll run trick plays when we are beating the brakes off folks - see Arky State last year. I prefer the Arky State approach honestly - lets destroy the cupcakes while making the power5 opponents have to spend time preparing for everything in our arsenal.
