We shall see. UT practice reports from their Rivals site seem to confirm that. I mean they lost so much on offense. You cant honestly tell me their offense would be better this year.

Meanwhile GT returns 8 on offense :)

Not a fan of Tennessee, or GT. Definitely not a fan of either head coach. My prediction is that UT will beat you guys down because of superior talent and I predict that Georgia will do the same. If we don't, and Kirby gets flat out embarrassed like he did in 2016, he'll find his seat getting hot a lot quicker than he or some of our fans expect.

I think it's very fair to say that we will take a step back offensively in 2017. Dobbs, Kamara, Malone, and Hurd will be extremely hard to replace. Even Croom on a smaller scale. Particularly the first 3 though as we had roughly the back half of the season to adjust without Hurd. Kelly came in as the #2 behind Kamara once Hurd split half way through the season and quietly rushed for more yards as the #3 (630yds) and had a better ypc (6.4) and yac than Kamara and Hurd.

There's also some reason for optimism. Veteran/Deep(when healthy) OL. What should be a strong running game with John Kelly and good, although mostly unknown outside of Jennings, athletes at WR. Expecting above average, but not great TE play.

Jauan Jennings
Marquez Callaway
Tyler Byrd
Josh Smith

Are probably in some order your top 4 WR. Latrell Williams and Brandon Johnson may also have an argument. Jennings takes Malones place as the #1. We have some dynamic younger guys at WR that should start to make some noise with Malone and Croom moving on to the NFL. It will be hard to replace Malones production.

QB is the big question mark heading into the season and ultimately what the season hinges on (in addition to DL). If we get good to above average QB play we have the talent to be a really tough team this year. Bad QB play and it's obviously the opposite direction. Coaches really like what they have in both Dormady and Guarantano, but both of them are inexperienced. Dormady has some playing time in mop up duty and Guarantano is completely green. Optimisticly speaking.. that doesn't make me feel great. I believe both have the talent to be successful, but I don't know what to expect under a new QB and OC in game 1.

All that being said, I expect our offense to take a step back but our defense to take 1, hopefully 2 steps forward.
