Nobody is making this point. My point was the police won't always be there to protect you. You can't expect to march around shouting your support for white supremacy and not expect people to get fired up and come at you.

In a functional society, you can expect exactly that - that people will let you speak your mind, even if they disagree with you. They are free to speak their mind in opposition to you, but they don't get to physically attack you.
