We will have a tough D...

How are you and others so sure about this? No elite experienced linebackers, pedestrian front line (no pre-season all SEC). Plus, lost two best DB. And to boot you are putting in a new system and scheme and I'm not sure you have any idea about how hard it is to pick up the difference between 4-3 and 3-4.

Plus for all the hype about defense last year, LSU got pushed around in the trenches badly by any team that was physical (they did better against E-W team offenses). Auburn for example just ran the ball straight up the middle and were never stopped.. it looked like bowling with LSU D-front as the pins.

I'm not saying LSU D will be bad this year, maybe so, maybe not ... just that no one knows, not a clue, nada, nothing... unless you depend on pure faith bowing at the church of "coach" and automatically shut your eyes and ears to any "sin" of questioning a position weakness in the 2017 LSU team. Oh, wait.... nevermind

When has our D ever been bad? 2008/2012 are the last years I remember. We have studs all over the field. Key, Lacouture, Lawrence, Herron to name a few on the Dline. Chaisson is a freak and just wait till Shelvin gets to campus. Devin White might be an all SEC LB when it's said and done and our sick freshman LB haul is already turning heads. And don't even get me started on our secondary, the talent is astounding. So damn good we are moving Stevens to WR. Aranda is salivating
