Obviously Saban is a good coach and good recruiter
However you're trying to paint it like it's 100% due to his skill, which obviously isn't the case. It's not entirely the other coach's fault (assuming he's not at LSU or Florida) that he has a musket - that's the hand that program is playing. There is a range of recruiting success that's possible at any given school - a good coach will be able to recruit at the top of that range, but he can't go past it. Let's say Alabama hired Rich Rod and Saban after leaving Miami goes to Kentucky. Even with the boost from his success at LSU, he still wouldn't pull in top 15, or even top 20 classes consistently. They'd probably average 8 or 9 wins a year, occasionally 10 wins. That's how it works.
