@ LSwho - W, beat them easily last year when they had Fournette and a good defense. All we have to do is kick field goals.
Did we watch the same game? I wouldn't consider an 18-13 win beating anyone "easily". Especially considering the way that one ended?? Combined, Johnson and Pettway carried 39 times for 154 yards and 0 TD's. White didn't throw a TD either.
- Guice = 62 yards on 3 carries.
- Pettway = 61 yards on 17 carries
(one more rushing attempt the LF7 had)
* Fournette 16 carries for 101 yards*
Etling would have thrown his second TD of the game and beaten you in your own stadium had there been one second left on the clock. With marginal improvement in QB play, LSU would have won by 14+ . Also, despite a very lousy passing game and an incredibly predictable offensive scheme, our running backs still had a significantly better game than yours.
Our defense may not be quite as talented as last year but the drop off is minimal and they will be well coached. Our offense was 3-14 on 3rd down-- they can't be any worse than that this year.
You're going to have to do more than kick field goals to beat LSU in Death Valley, darsh.

Same could be said of Auburn's Oline and QB. With marginal improvement in red zone play Auburn wins by 3 TD's. FYI...these arguments are pointless.
