Unfortunately I can believe that the redpots of my class were in many ways directly and indirectly responsible for the bonfire collapse due to carelessness and negligence. (1st stack being put in wrong while the remainder put in correctly was the physical cause of the collapse - the resulting hoop stress from stacks 2-6 pushing down on the bottom stack made it burst like an overfilled barrel)

sadly you are correct, realistically it could have been anyone in their shoes. Young men following a tradition so steeped that a "comfort zone" was established.

One of the country's most treasured college traditions.. I know a lot of Texas fans that would jump to defend it's honor. 100% respect.
