Thanks for the input, guys. I had not looked at a 4Runner, simply because it never appeared on any "best" compilations. I decided to look into it more, and the reviews are pretty unflattering for the newest models. Consensus seems to be that it is really good for true off-roading, but lacks punch, road manners, and comfort.
Again, big constraint is that overall length needs to be <~190" long. 4Runner does this, but I don't need hardcore off-road. I have customers that work pretty deep in the woods, but not so bad that JGC would struggle. A "grocery getter" (Tahoe, Lexus RX, etc.) would. But, I also have to deal with bankers, lawyers, etc., and want something that can dress up when needed.
Talked to several people who own JGC's in the last couple of days. Sounds like reliability is a bit overblown, but something to keep an eye on.
Still pretty set on it, but I do wish I had a bigger garage. Damn historical house.
