What do you mean on the edge? I take that as you have a light and are having limited success with it. Do you have it on a dock, putting it on the side of your boat or somewhere else?

We do a good bit of night fishing and there are a few docks around the lake that have them. They usually produce pretty good. Like MR said, they do attract the bait pretty well.

Yeah. On a dock. Three green lights attached. The lights themselves attract some very large fish. They just won't bite. I am catching some small ones on the transition zone between the light, and dark water.
