overall, a texas a&m graduate is more valuable and employable than your typical ivy league grad. same goes for any sec school where grads are much more well-rounded than your typical snowflake harvard sjw.

I don't know, there is a tinge of drunken anger in that late night post
But I get it, we are here playing football with the big boys and y'all are stuck at 5-7 losing to Kansas in what most don't even consider to be a power conference
You never should've trusted Dodds with that dumbass network at least y'all with 11 AM kick offs on Fox sports one

but College Station is a dump. This is just flat false. Low crime. Decent food. Booming economy and construction. Student living is second to none.

According to the 2010 U.S. Census, College Station is the ninth poorest city in the country, just one notch behind Detroit.
“The College Station-Bryan metro area, home to Texas A&M University, had the greatest concentration of very poor people in the nation, with 16.4 percent of its residents earning less than half the federal poverty rate.”
Bloomberg paywall (excluding poor aggy)

That's just ignorant, it obviously took into account the 50,000 students
Posted on 8/7/17 at 2:11 pm to Old Sarge
50K students surrounded by Detroit.

While I agree that Texas A&M is an excellent school, a big contributing factor is the relative salary to cost of living in Texas. Housing cost is some of the lowest in the country. If you live anywhere near the petrochemical industry along the gulf coast, you can make over $100K with no college degree if you work construction or get a job in one of the plants.
Any "study" like this is going to have inherent flaws. They're never going to account for price of living or state income taxes, property taxes, etc in some states. I understand that Texas has no state income taxes, but where do the majority of A&M graduates get jobs after school? Are they in bumblefrick Texas where the cost of living is low or are they moving to Dallas? A 100k is not the same everywhere. (I'm just using that number as an example, I really don't care to read the linked site).
That said, i agree that A&M is a good school. But "best value" could change depending on a multitude of different factors.

ROI is salary vs education cost.
Has nothing to do with housing
