Where did you find that Auburn accepts state money for athletics? Genuinely curious, and I haven't been able to find anything.

Athletic departments at five SEC schools receive some kind of school support, from Ole Miss’ $2.9 million, the high, to Auburn’s $546,000.
I was wrong, sorry. Auburn is one of five. They accept the least of the five. Ole Miss accepts the most help while moo state gives money to their academics. It's all in the link i previously posted.
