Funny how you left off my part of comment that he was the best AD (by default). Obviously he doesn't have a lot to compare against. Time will tell what Bjork knew/didn't know. Maybe the GOBs will use him as a scapegoat if the banhammer comes, who knows.
What I do know is that:
The Saunders cheating scandal that predates Bjork and Freeze was the major reason for the self-imposed 1-year bowl ban.
Bjork did not hire Freeze and could not fire him and NOT pay him $16M unless there was evidence against him or the NCAA forced it.
Bjork does not appear weak publicly, unlike that worm Vitter.
From where I sit, Bjork has managed the situation fairly well. Make no mistake, Ole Miss (not just Bjork) is all-in on faith that the COI won't be a bunch of Mike Sheridans and Chris Howards. We shall see.

Realistically, how could Bjork not have noticed a pattern on Hugh's phone that allegedly dates back to 2012, and how could the University release enough Freeze's records from an athletic association-funded phone to get him fired but refuse to release the rest of the records after he's gone? There's something very, very off. Bjork should have known that he had Hugh by the balls and that he could terminate the contract without triggering the buyout whenever he wanted to go public with it. At times, it almost seems like the Athletic Department simply let Freeze get fired, but it makes no sense considering how much of the defense has been based on Freeze the man.
Bjork is an incredible fundraiser, but I'm not sure how to defend him on the NCAA investigation or on Freeze's downfall, which are intrinsically related. Plus there are the rumors that he was to take the K-State job if not for becoming damaged goods
