"Many of you may already be aware of an article that was published in today’s edition of USA Today. In this article, reporter Josh Peter claims to have interviewed three former Briarcrest students who have alleged inappropriate personal conduct by Hugh Freeze during his time at Briarcrest from 1992 to 2005. We have personally spoken to all former heads of school and many other former administrators who all say that they are unaware of any allegations against Coach Freeze regarding inappropriate personal conduct during his tenure at Briarcrest. It is important for everyone to understand that Briarcrest will always take any such allegations seriously and deal with them appropriately."
