Well their Women's Basketball and Track and Field Programs were part of this NCAA Investigation. So yeah multiple sports.

But if Ole Miss can't field a football team then what's the difference between having them and Wichita State who doesn't have Football but is actually good at Basketball.

Truth to be told if Ole Miss was in position to be removed from the SEC there would be four schools who would be targeted

1. Texas- Aggy has proved to not be able to carry the state. Thing is I do not know what the Group of 4 would do but I think they would approve of them so the Longhorns would never end up in the ACC

2. North Carolina- All schools would approve of this but do not see UNC leaving the ACC

3. Oklahoma- They may leave and all schools would approve but not with David Boren.

4. Virgina Tech- All schools would approve but I do not though know the situation with UVA. I know they were in different conferences before but someone explain it as the Virginia legislature would not allow the schools to split up as they pretty much forced the ACC to being in Va Tech

I have no idea. I think that Ole Miss stays because there are no other options unless of course West Virgina or East Carolina

The difference is that Football (and maybe basketball to an extent at a good BB school) makes the money to pay for all those other sports. Without football, would the school budget the millions needed from their budget to help the Athletic Program?
