Bad weather? Traffic? I don't see how you can't enjoy a beautiful beach, but I'm a Bay/Walton counties, FL guy

I just don't like the beach. It's not my thing.
Alabama wasn't bad If I'm being honest. I really liked the pine forests. Not as pretty as Ozark country, but it has a certain appeal.
Mississippi, on the other hand, was every bit the barren wasteland shithole I imagined it to be. WTF is up with all of the dollar stores?
