Anybody been or know how/when to purchase them? From what I was told you have to be on a waiting list every year and after that you get locked in every year to get them, is this true? Does it work like season tickets where your seats get better yearly? Can you buy multiple seats?

I plan on making it a annual thing to attend regardless of who is playing, and just wanted more feedback.

Depends on what trash team from the east is representing that side of the conference. I bought tickets directly from Missouri's ticket office a couple years ago.

Each year current SEC Championship Game ticket holders have the opportunity to renew tickets for the upcoming championship game. Tickets that are not renewed are sold to randomly selected members of the SEC Football Championship Game Waiting List in September. Those selected in September who purchase tickets for the 2017 game will have the opportunity to renew their tickets.

In October or November, additional waiting list members may be selected to purchase tickets returned by the Mercedes Benz Stadium and these tickets are not renewable (The stadium has the option to purchase these tickets each year).

The Waiting List is open from November 1 through July 31. Online entries are the only way to register for the Waiting List. Only one entry per person, as multiple entries do not increase chances of being selected.

All applicants are considered equal in date. The SEC Ticket Office will notify you by mail or email by the end of September if you have been selected to purchase renewable tickets. If the Stadium does not purchase their full allotment of tickets, you may receive an order form in October or November to purchase non-renewable tickets. Those applicants who are not selected will not be contacted or notified.

Any applicant who is unsuccessful in obtaining renewable tickets through the waiting list must resubmit their information to be considered for the following years SEC Football Championship (applicants are not carried over each year).
