I don't get the sniping between any of the schools in Texas or LA or Ark. Any of them are a transformative coach away from going on a roll.
I'm not sure if LSU even needs a transformative coach. I think that school is so perfectly placed to recruit that they just need a non-frickup to stay in the game.

Both of the great LSU coaches McClendon and Miles were forced out. One by firing and the other one by letting him know they wanted to move on.
When LSU wins they cannot handle their success and have delusional thoughts on who they really are in the world of college football. One minute they are yelling at everyone who will listen about how great they are then if they do not win they are firing their coach for not being great. Similar to most of the programs in the Southwest and Southeast.
Thing is if you haven't won really much of anything in 100+ years of college football why would you start in 2017.
A&M with a great coach or without one will never be an elite program. They do not know how to win and if you ask me they are cowards.

Aside from baseball, you can't dispute that Oklahoma and Kansas are the alphas in the Big 12.
