I do not know if it changes you forever, but it changes your view of life real quick and how you react to that may change your life forever.
I had one bad trip in my teenage years. My friends found me half dressed in the middle of a frozen pond during a snow storm. I am glad the ice was thick and I did not fall through. I still did acid after that experience though, you learn.
If you ever can I do recommend tripping in a snow storm, especially if someone can drive you at night. i promise you will think you are traveling at warp speed through the Universe.

You can trip acid while staring at carpet and realize you are traveling at warp speed through the universe.

I think you've done alot of fake acid, and acted like a gimp.

Yes - Personally, I am glad I took acid. I am a better person for having done it.
