You forgot play terrible SEC East Teams like Georgia.

14-5 against the SEC East.

Mullen has not been consistent against the West but he does tend to beat Ole Miss Arkansas Texas A&M or Auburn fairly often. He just doesn't beat LSU or Alabama.

And Georgia is 12-7 against the SEC West during the same time period. What is MSU's record against the West?... Oh that's right, 15-30

This is a good point. The fact we get LSU early and Bama late doesn't help, since LSU generally fizzles of late and Bama gets stronger as the season goes on. Not that we would have racked up a bunch of wins against them, but I think we could have pulled off a couple.
