A crap ton, like half of the fans drive at least two hours home after the game, because staying the night in unrealistic. That is, if you dont mind paying around $350 a night. Thats a big issue with the location of columbia to stl and kc. Along with the lack of hotels. The city and mizzou needed to find a way to keep some of the fans in the city for the whole weekend. Everyone knows thats how you get fans to the games, not by forcing them to drive hours right after.

I used to drive three hours each way from Nashville the "Big Orange Caravan" having free dorm rooms for this is shameful, I find it hard to believe that hotel developers ignore a need. You don't see other small town schools in the SEC needing or having the capacity to do this.

Before you slam me, I was born in MO and actually attended Mizzou for a year and a half.
