Last night's win gave LSU 150 wins all-time in the NCAA Tournament and kept the Tigers with the best winning percentage in tournament history. The Tigers are now 150-59 in the NCAA Tournament – good enough for a .718 winning percentage. LSU also bumped its winning percentage in the College World Series up to .603 (38-25). Apples and Oranges. LSU won 5 titles via single elimination championship game. Good try though CG.

That is really impressive, I didn't realize you guys had played that many games in the CWS

Doesn't mean much when based on fewer appearances. Coastal Carolina averages 6 wins per CWS appearance.

That's a better stat because both teams have played a lot of games. If LSU, now 39-25, should somehow manage to win the next three to win the CWS, or win tomorrow and win two out of three in the championship series, this would improve to either 42-25 (.627) or 42-26 (.618).

Updated to 151-59 (.719)
