I understand. I am just saying there is clearly a way to stop it
Bama, who had a statistically better defense, got pounded by the likes of Manziel and Ole miss recently, where lsu managed to maintain them.
Been a while since I watched much Big 12 football, but TCU used to do the best against spread teams (not so much the past few years?).
I've made the point on this board before, that when these qb's are clicking, nothing stops them.
But they do have bad days sometimes. There were 3 or 4 games Clemson could have lost this past year besides Pitt.
My point is, are you quite certain it is not a statistical thing, you catching these ace qb's when they are off?
I seem to remember you guys losing to Clemson yourself a few years ago. Though Watson didn't play?

Watson was still in high school. That was the Tajh Boyd team.
