Lost in the "hurr durr frick Auburn" talk is the fact that Jacobs has said he wants to keep the iron bowl. So, not really running from Alabama. If we could keep the IB and get back our old traditional rivalries that would be great. And on top of that is the geographic reasoning, etc.

I do believe that the Auburn proposal states that Auburn and the Gumps would still play.
