Me either, but that was supposedly one of the things he and Lashlee disagreed over.
It won't be easy for Gus to just "turn off' his offensive opinions and allow Lindsey to take full control.

Gus has trust issues, and he's felt some heat and pressure from the AU brass the last couple of years. He knows he has to get it right this year, so the ultimate decision making will fall on his shoulders. I have a feeling he's going to want to see with his own eyes what Lindsey/Stidham can do in the SEC, and that might take 5-6 games to get a true picture.

Why would you want Gus to "turn off" his offensive opinions? He's the same guy that had arkie at a level not seen in two decades in '06, set records in '07 and '08. Worked a smoke and mirrors miracle in '09. '10 speaks for itself. '11 pre-chiz interference was impressive considering the signal caller. '13 and '14 on O were also pretty strong.

I love having CL with his passing background and QB development history, but why would anyone not want Gus involved? He's accomplished more offensively than any other coach in the SEC in his short time in coaching.
