leaving the best pitcher in the NCAA tourney on the bench and resting her for a game 3 that was never coming is questionable coaching. You have to win game 2 to make it to game 3 and that's why Patty Gasso win and wins and wins. She was always one step ahead of Coach Walton. That first game really screwed it up for UF rotation wise. I love guorley or whatever her name was. I didn't know much about her till the champ series but I do see why Florida won so many by shutouts his year. Great team pitching. Paige Lowery hadn't shown that kind of superstar potential as a starter. I was pleasantly surprised she can pitch for 10 innings and her strength never dropped off.

Also can we stop bitching about homefield advantage. OU went on the road for Supers and won easily in a hositile Sec enviroment. Someone is always going to have homefield advantage if you moved it to another city.

She was gassed and only pitched above 7 innings once all year.

Gourley should have started, but she was also gassed.

OU could have did the same thing to her early that UF did to Parker today.

Hard to say, but going 17 innings and losing and having to play again the next day isn't a recipe for success.

But UF isn't going anywhere. Only losing 3 seniors with both Barnhill and Ocasio returning.
