In SS we had the sirens going off last night and the winds were aroun 60 (or that's what Dan said) and at my house we lost trees and power again.
I saw where there were trees and wind damage up by the distribution center in Bentonville also.

It has been used sarcastically for at least 30 years.
I always took it to be in reference to the large population of dirty hippies still stuck in the 60s.

Holtz used to call Spring ball a tour through Fayettenam
It's been called that since I've lived in the city 70's.

I never knew he started that. I knew people referred to it as "Nam"long before I knew the original was referencing North Carolina. I don't think it is nearly as common as it used to be, what with "Fayettechill" and all that shite.

I worked a full day today. It was a little wet, but we poured concrete by the afternoon. Though it looks like it may be wetter tonight.
I heard there was some hail east of Fayetteville. But I haven't heard of any damage.

Somewhat off topic ROTC is really closing? That used to be a great place. Everything changed though when they moved it to the Hush Puppy location
