BLAYNE TOLL ABOUT TO BLOW UP?

It takes a little longer for players from the state of Arkansas to emerge on the national scene and currently the state doesn’t have one four-star player in the Class of 2020. That could be about to change, though, as jumbo athlete Blayne Toll continues to make a name for himself. The do-it-all high school quarterback translates to tight end or defensive end in college and has seen his offer list start to grow, including adding TCU on Thursday. Tennessee and Ohio State are likely to enter the picture soon and before long Toll could see his profile expand even further.

Ze'Vian Capers had the best day among receivers at the Atlanta Regional. The Denmark (Ga.) pass catcher was dominant in 1-on-1's combining his size and catch radius (6-foot-4, 195 pounds) with advanced route-running and ball skills. Capers showcased a complete skill set in the camp setting, winning reps in a variety of ways. The Arkansas pledge also turned in a strong day on the testing front, running a 4.57 second 40-yard dash, 4.44 second short shuttle and jumping 34.8 inches. Capers is also one of the more productive wide receivers in the state of Georgia, totaling 118 receiving yards per game as a junior.

The move: Capers earns his fourth star and enters the Top247 as the No. 121 overall prospect and No. 23 receiver.

Checking in at 6-1, 223 pounds, Stewart dropped a 4.61-second laser time in the 40-yard dash, he maneuvered the shuttle in 4.14 seconds and posted a 34.6-inch vertical leap. His 131.6 Opening rating is fifth nationally. He had the second-best performance out of any competitor at the event, with Lee's Summit (Mo.) North running back Keyon Mozee, 5-7, 172, putting up a mark of 137.1. None of the other players in the top 5 were taller than 5-10, nor were any of them over 200 pounds. Stewart was also the only defensive recruit in the top 13 in St. Louis, and only 19 competitors had a score of at least 100. No other defender scored over 101.31 aside from Stewart in St. Louis.

"He's a unique body type for the position at the style he plays because he's not super long at least from a height standpoint, so you just wonder how much weight he's going to carry. But what he is is obviously athletic and explosive, and that led to production. Sometimes you see guys that are athletic but they don't produce," Wiltfong said.

As a junior last season, Stewart racked up 89 tackles, including 24 tackles for loss and six sacks. He also had a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and an interception for the Golden Hurricane. In January at the National Combine, Stewart checked in at 6-2, 209 pounds, so he was an inch shorter and 14 pounds heavier at in St. Louis. He also had a wingspan of 72.5 inches with 9.25-inch hands. In addition to Arkansas, Arkansas State, Houston, Kansas, Liberty, Memphis, SMU and Troy extended scholarship offers his way.
