OK, but Muschamp was a first year coach of a team that had zero draft picks this past year, and was able to beat a coach in his forth year that had multiple picks.

Only Barnett and Dobbs played that game and Dobbs turned in the single worst game he ever played in orange. We lost our last DT that game and witnessed Hurd quit (his theatrics led to a crucial turnover that likely would've changed the outcome had it not happened). Even so, we still should've won but the team that was fielded was only marginally better than what SC fielded and at several positions it was worse.

No question SC was slaw talent wise but that's not far from what we were after the injuries and drama and on defense we were worse the last few games (stats back that up - we were in the 100s nationally on defense when critical mass hit on the injury front). That team didn't get any better until bowl season and had to rely on scoring 63 points to beat Mizzou.

That was the most injured team I've ever seen Tennessee field the back half of last season. Similar to UGA a few years ago. I could honestly care less that Tennessee lost by 3 points with their 2nd string defense on the field while playing on the road. A healthy Tennessee squad rolls South Carolina in Columbia.
