If State doesn't have all of the injuries, do they blow out the rest of the league? They are winning series with guys that would have pitched/played minimally.

Did Rooker get injured? The pitchers you're missing are no better than the ones your using.

MSU is gonna run away with it anyway, with a probable sweep next weekend...State scored 10 runs against Ole Miss in the weekend series, and got a sweep. Everyone thought that they would fold when they played the heavy hitters in the conference, because of a depleted pitching staff...well, they just beat a heavy hitter in A&M by a 4-3 score. They are not gonna fold. They win by out hitting teams, and they win by handcuffing teams at the plate. They are the best team in the SEC. Hats off to state college/starksville.

The baseball team has become the avatar of "the grind."

Take away thursday, the pitching look fairly good. State didn't have a midweek game and don't have one next week. To have a very limited pitching staff, the extra rest could have helped this staff.

Gutsy performance this series by State. After Thursday's game, it looked pretty dire for them but they gritted it out. We had been playing good defense since the early season letdown, but errored it up on Friday and Saturday.
State pitching really stepped it up.
