Snowing up on Mt. LeConte in East TN

6 inches laying and still snowing at 22 degrees outside
It's 45 (was just 80+) degrees in Knoxville and 72 in Chatt currently. Only about a 100 miles seperate the two. Wild weather day

Agreed. It's a beautiful hike
Not sure on the cold front and I don't think Ober got any snow. It's most likely hitting 6k feet and up.
Edit: I take that back, North Carolina is getting snow around 4300 ft

Spent a night in April (years ago) in the shelter above LeConte. Cold as heck, but no snow (thank goodness). Took the Boulevard Trail up to it and the Alum Cave Trail back down.
