He completes just 30.7 percent of his passes while under pressure. He completes just 33.3 percent of passes more than 20 yards down the field. 80 of his 227 completions were behind the line of scrimmage.
True Freshman. If he continues like this for the next two years, you will definitely have a point. But it still boggles my mind how you are convinced that he will show little to no progression at all.

I'll say it again. HE WILL LIKELY IMPROVE OVER SPRING BECAUSE PRACTICE MAKES PLAYERS BETTER.
But to sit here and act like he's great is just blind homerism. If he played for anyone but Bama and had identical numbers y'all would harp on how he was subpar. Over 1/3 of his completions, 35.24%, are from behind the line of scrimmage. Again, any Joe QB can take the snap and sling it to a WR on a bubble screen, swing pass, or a 5-10 yard dart. But since he plays for Bama he's God's gift to earth.
For all I know, he'll come out of spring practice slinging it like Brett Favre. I'm just saying, as of last year, his numbers are egregiously inflated due to his running ability, dink-n-dunk passing, letting play makers do all the work, and had the luxury of a great o-line.
