Big OOC games only help with recruiting when you win. If you lose, it helps recruiting for the other schools.

There's not a single recruit whose commitment hinges on whether we play Furman or Virginia.

On signing day, Reggie McMaynerberry, 5 Star defensive tackle, chooses Alabama over Georgia because "I don't know, like, Georgia played Furman and beat day arse, but, like, you know, if day played Virginia, sheeat, you know, like, I don't know, I'm going to Alabama instead of Georgia, cuz like, you know, sheeut, like, know what I mean?"

I am on the fence of going to one of these putrid home games this year. The schedule suck and scheduling ND doesn't make it much better. The marquee matchups are what make college football great. We should 1 really good OOC team on our schedule, as well as a decent one. Uk and Vandy don't count as good matchups, even if Vandy did beat us last year. Im sure everyone is tired of watching noon games.
