I have not the slightest negative thing to say about Baugh, but just for transparency's sake the NFL was only around about 30 years at the time of his retirement.

Still the second best average per punt for a careerin NFL history. Tied for the most seasons leading the league in passing and fewest interceptions (tied with Steve Young). Has the 4th highest completion percentage for a season. The only player in NFL history to lead the league in passing, punting and interceptions in the same season.
