if you ask someone for an interview and they say they're not interested, you've been turned down...doesn't make any difference that you never made it to the offer stage.

Chris Hatcher from Georgia Southern who WAS offered the job just turned down Saban, according to unsubstantiated reports. That makes 4 rejections.
