I don't read the Mobile paper so I don't know what it says. And Finebaum is not news; it is entertainment. That would be like watching the Colbert Report and claiming that was your daily news. Finebaum is a great show once you learn to appreciate it for what it is. Paul is a frickin' genius for creating the show he's got.

But the TNews is pretty fair when it comes to its coverage of Alabama football. Cecil Hurt is critical at times, sometimes very critical. Now, you will never read something like, "Alabama sucks and will never win anything" which is what a lot of you guys want to see. Now I will admit the full section rehash of the 25th anniversary of Bear's death this past weekend was a bit much but I guess they figured that would be a big seller, and I'm sure it was.

I don't remember the guys name, but he is a sports reporter in Mobile. He was on a local radio show before the LSU/Bama game last year. He stated (get ready for Bama delusion) that he EXPECTED Bama to compete for multiple championships in the next 4 years. When asked SEC championships, he said 'No, national championships'. Geeez.

I agree with you on Finnie being about entertainment. Thats why i listen to him when i can. its funny/humorous how bama/auburn fans go back and forth. I dont take his info. word for word. I agree, its like colbert and john stewart.
Yet, I have seen more bama rantards posting articles from alabama sports publications. more so than LSU with Times Picayune or Advocate.
It's dilusional reporting for entertainment.
I dont read Lee Guillbeau. He's a clown to me.
