And Illinois is beyond horrendous. True colors beginning to show? Now I'm wondering if we take 1 of 3 from UGA.

I don't remember the numbers that you stat guys like to throw around but it seems to me that I read somewhere that Illinois had a BPI or RPI or RBI or HBP of around 250. Seems like UGA was 210 or 220.

If it's any consolation, we didn't lose this one by 1 run.

Toelken turned in a solid outing and kept his team in it. Glendinning, Sharp, and Mompierre wearing the collar didn't help.

Managed to take the series from UGA. Harris homered in consecutive games and Montes De Oca spun a gem today.

Now we will have fans saying we are back. Typical Mizzou fans overreact one way or the other.

They are back to playing decent ball. If anyone would have told you that Tanner Houck would be 3-4 on a 23-8 team you would have laughed in their face. The bats have scuffled in the last 8 games but I think the underclassmen are adjusting. I'd like to see them get right before Kentucky gets to town.

We are better than last year but not as good as the record suggest. UGA is horrible. Illinois is horrible. I like getting the wins to take the series but that hardly tells me we are back and a division/conference contender, not that we ever were.
