Joke all you want but dude worked his arse off once he got here.
He did. And he has some real talent. The thing is there are a couple of very public meltdowns by Kelly that are out there for everyone to see.
Not many people are willing to roll the dice, in this day and age, on a QB... the face of the franchise... only to have them flip out on camera and threaten to shoot someone.
I'm not saying this to troll Ole Miss. Kelly just has a well documented rep as a loose warhead right now and someone is going to have to be willing to take a chance on that for him to get drafted.

He's either injured, absent, or a distraction...it's going to take a team that willing to keep him medicated. I've never seen a QB jaw like he did at OM.

There had been some talk that the character concerns are worse than people know.

Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly was cleared by doctors to complete a pro day throwing session of 35-45 plays.
Kelly is working back from an ACL injury, which kept him out of the Senior Bowl. Kelly also had his NFL Combine invite rescinded, and Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman recently said Kelly's "baggage" is "considerably worse than what has been reported," but elected to not expand on that statement. Many respected evaluators have plenty of positive things to say about Kelly's game, including Matt Waldman.

At least we'll know what happens in a few weeks.
