If you are telling me that Alabama does not have the population to sustain its universities, than you are telling me yall are wasting state funding and should shut some universities down.
And I would agree. Our state has that issue with some of our schools.

What?
Bigger universities are able to become better academic institutions, that almost fact in every case. Every university in a state's primary goal is not to just educate people of the state. It is also a method to attract people to the state and bring revenue from outside.
