re: Alabama Basketball Recruiting and Offseason Talk

Had this thought because of the double header with UAH. What would y'all think of a one day college basketball event in Alabama during mid to late December? In other words have teams from all over the state play in one arena on a Saturday before conference play and the good bowl games start.

So the schedule would look something like this:

Morning Session
11:00
Alabama A&M vs UAH

1:15
Alabama State vs Samford

3:30
South Alabama vs Jacksonville State

Night Session
6:00
Auburn vs Troy

8:30
Alabama vs UAB

It could be a good way to generate some buzz for basketball after football essentially is over, or it could bomb. Just a thought for a slow period news wise.
